2021 All-America City Award (AAC)

We’re proud to share that the City of Wheat Ridge was among the winners of 2021 All-America City Award (AAC) - including the work with WheatRidgeSpeaks.org!

A highlight of the city was the theme, “Together Through the Pandemic”, that included WheatRidgeSpeaks.org that provides official public comment on city council and planning commission items. Wheat Ridge Speaks hosted 54 meetings on the platform in 2020, and 166 comments were submitted with 5,528 website visits.

The National Civic League announced the winners of the 2021 All-America City Award (AAC). These communities represent the diversity of American communities from the largest cities to the smallest towns, from east to west and north to south.
