Announcing Labels

We’ve been heads down for much of this year, onboarding new cities and counties amidst the giant shift from physical to remote virtual public hearings. We also have begun a full redesign and update of our platform to better meet the diverse needs of the municipalities with whom we work. As part of this update, we’re starting to build a number of enhancements.

Today, we’re excited to announce a small but mighty feature update. Now you can add Labels to denote procedural items, such as Call to Order, Roll Call, etc., or sections of a Meeting, such as Consent Agenda.

Labels allows you to add full context to the online version of your Meetings and public hearings, making it easier for decision makers and residents to follow along and participate in local government.

Labels are similar to Items but differ in some key ways:

  • Labels and Items appear in both the Admin and on the Meeting Detail Page in the Items area and their name, ordering, and publish status can be managed as you like.

  • Unlike Items, Labels do not appear on the Home Page and are excluded from Packets and Minutes.

  • Unlike Items, Labels do not have a separate page with videos or PDF attachments, workflow, commenting, states, etc. – they are just text-based information to give additional context to your Meetings.

To create a new Label, click the Add Label button that appears next to the Add Item button in the Items area in the Admin for your Meeting.

Contact us today to hear how our customers large and small are already using this integration in the field.
